RoohAfza Crisis During Ramzan: A Deliberate Attempt By Modi To Keep Muslims Less Energetic During Voting

On 6th May the Muslims’ holy month of fasting, Ramzan, began, but there has been a report from various parts of the country that there’s a major shortage of RoohAfza in the market.

This RoohAfza has crisis created a state of panic among the Muslims as Iftaari without RoohAfza is almost unimaginable and no iftaari means every Indian Muslim shall have to undertake a 30 day non-stop fast during this election season.

This year Ramzan coincided with elections and the Election Commission refused Yogi Adityanath’s proposal to shift the holy month post elections. Despite that, the ruling government is being targeted for not expressing enough sympathy for the minority community during this crisis.

PM Modi has also been targeted for not paying attention to the crisis deliberately. It has also been said that it was a strategically chalked out attempt by Modi government to keep Muslims less energetic and discourage them from voting. The Muslim community has never been a vote base for the ruling party and if the community doesn’t vote it would translate into better chances of BJP winning again.

The opposition has approached the Election Commission against Modi and is demanding to form an SIT to investigate the crisis.
