Reliance Industries Limited chairman Mukesh Ambani spoke at the 42nd annual general meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) and announced a three-in-one carriage, commerce and content product. No, we are not talking about the Jio Giga Fiber.
Reliance is now all set to offer its patrons a free iPhone X with every new Jio connection. The phone shall come with free voice calling facility, high-speed broadband services, and free lifetime Netflix subscription, year-long Zomato coupons besides Tinder boosts only at Rs. 700 per month.
Jio is known for its out-of-the-box offers which are quick to capture the market. This announcement is very important for a country like India, where people in villages are deprived of video calling facility despite living in the 21st century.
“Recently it was in the news that Siri eavesdrops on your personal conversations and sends the data to Apple. For long I have wanted to stop this discrimination. I don’t believe in data discrimination. Apple has the right to spy on everyone’s data, be it rich or poor. Jio will be remembered as a pioneer in this field!” said a gadget guru.
Customers are hoping that in his next announcement Mukesh Ambani can think about giving JW Marriott bananas free of cost with a Jio product. More on this awaited.
