On Tuesday, the Election Commission of India declared the results of the recently held assembly elections for five states. Out of these five states, Congress is going to form a government in three states namely MP, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. The results came as a surprise for Congress workers too, as by now they had gotten used to only one type of win i.e. moral victory.
Congress wasn’t sure of winning these states hence they did not make any prior arrangements or pre-order sweets to celebrate. But thanks to Digital India, online food delivery option came to their rescue and the party went with one of them. Congress workers from MP ordered 10 KG laddoos from Zomato but were shocked after only 10% of the laddoos reached them.
The incident not only resulted in further damaging the reputation of Zomato but also established the mark of the Congress government in MP, as Rajiv Gandhi had once revealed that if their government releases a certain amount of funds, only 10% reaches the beneficiaries.
