BREAKING: Rafale to have 786 as its registration number

On 8th October, the auspicious day of Dussehra, India got its first Rafale jet. Since the deal was signed, Rafale has been in the controversy as Congress president Rahul Gandhi called it a scam mush bigger than Bofors and made it important or the only part of congress’ campaign. However, Rafale is now again in controversy as the defence minister Rajnath Singh did Shastra Pooja and wrote ‘Om’ on it.
Calling it a communal move and drama, opposition leaders attacked the ruling party and accused Rajnath Singh of disturbing the secular fabric of the country. To silent the critics Rajnath Singh has said that Rafale’s registration number will be 786, the numeric value for Bismillahir-Rahmanir-Rahim written in Arabic.
Although the Rajnath Singh with his this move has silenced his critics but India has many religions with different rituals so nobody can predict when a new controversy would erupt. It won’t be a surprise if Congress demands something related to the Christian religion also to be prited on the Rafale.
