Boy Dies While Waiting In A Queue Outside Starbucks During Their Coffee at ₹100 Promotion

A 28-year-old man died while standing in a queue outside a Starbucks outlet in south Delhi on Saturday afternoon.

Rahul Joshi, a resident of Noida Sector 17, had gone to avail the Starbucks promotional offer of coffee at ₹100 on 6th of October when he started feeling dizzy after standing in a queue for a prolonged stretch of time. Rahul could not afford to lose his place in the queue, where he had already spent more than 2 hours, thus ignored his health over a cup of coffee.

After noticing his pale face, two people tried to shift Rahul to a more comfortable place, but Rahul denied suspecting that they’re doing so only to overtake his place in the queue. Rahul succumbed and fainted after waiting for more than six hours in the queue. Later he was hospitalized, however, it was too late to save him.

The Starbucks’ offer has sparked chaos across the country, with millions of youngsters queued outside different outlets to taste and to take a selfie with Starbucks cups with their name written over it.
