After a journalist lost her iPhone 11 in the farmers’ protest at Singhu Border , another journalist complained about her iPhone 13 getting stolen at the protest.
Journalist Rohini tweeted “This is shocking, I also lost my newly bought iPhone 13 in farmers protest costing Rs. 1.5 Lacs”.
Soon after the journalist’s tweet, the Apple India head reverted saying iPhone 13 hasn’t yet launched and same is scheduled for late April this year and its costing is also not disclosed yet.
If sources are to be believed, the journalist made up the story of her phone being stolen after a satire article saying farmers gift iPhone 12 to a journalist who lost her iPhone 11 in the protest went viral.
