Wildfires blazing in the Amazon rainforest have surged by more than 83 %, with 72,843 fires detected so far. Amazon rainforest contributes to 20% of earth’s oxygen and is the world’s largest tropical forest. With such a huge fire, amazon rainforest which counters global warming became a topic of discussion among environmentalists and global leaders.
