Congress Accuses Modi Of Stealing Credit After UPA Time Tweets Of Banning Twitter And Facebook Resurface

Taking on the BJP for issuing false promises to citizens, Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala on Wednesday blamed the BJP-led government for claiming credit of the work done by the previous UPA government.

Surjewala in his press conference claimed that banning social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook has always been a Congress’ dream and Congress has taken several steps to ensure the same. Surjewala also showed tweets from UPA time when the govt has asked to ban Twitter and Facebook.

The BJP is an expert in the art of claiming credit of good work done by others. They had been criticising the Congress for the various schemes initiated by the UPA but now continuing the same by merely changing the name of the schemes,” Surjewala said.

Congress also cited central vista project, the new parliament building project which was Congress’ dream-child and is now built by Modi.
