Boy drops the idea of startup after his father gave him an apartment instead of garage to operate from

Mumbai. Million and billion dollar companies had to start somewhere and in the technology field that “somewhere” is often an unsuspecting garage. And this led an upcoming entrepreneur to drop his idea of a Startup as he could not find a suitable garage to start his operations from.

From Amazon and Apple to Harley Davidson and toy-maker Mattel, these garage startups have turned into multinational powerhouse and Shwetank Malik thought that he could be the next Unicorn and he even had a unique idea to turn into successful business. But all his dreams went down the drain as he did not find a garage to start his office in. He explored the city of Mumbai but got only rented offices or apartments.

Garages are a rarity in Mumbai and Shwetank was adamant to start his business from a garage. Finally he had to drop the idea and will now be selling the idea to someone else.
