Aamir Khan is all set and ready to play the character of a thug in his upcoming film “Thugs Of Hindostan” and is going about it in his usual perfectionist way. Recently, during the teaser launch of the movie, Aamir Khan spoke to @the_fauxy and shared his experience while preparing himself for the role. The actor revealed that he spent a lot of days with real-life doctors to get a true sense of thugs & bluffs. However, the actor believes that not all doctors are thugs and one shouldn’t defame the profession just because 90% of them are like this.
The actor mentioned a story of a doctor, who prescribed a patient multiple tests after the patient complained of a stomach-ache. Later after going through all the tests, the doctor prescribed him a Pudin Hara. It was also found that the pathology lab where all the tests were done was owned by the doctor’s wife.
The story struck an emotional chord with Aamir and it was at that moment that he decided to recreate and honour the professionalism of doctors worldwide. The actor believes that in the current scenario doctors are top notch thugs and to perform his role with finesse, it was a must for him to study the nuances of doctors.
This is not the first time that Aamir Khan has displayed an utmost commitment to a movie. On a previous occasion, the actor allegedly locked himself in a hotel room and continuously watched Christopher Nolan’s ‘Memento’ until he was able to replicate it scene by scene.
