After Congress scored an unambiguous 0/5 in the state elections of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Punjab and Goa and lost one of the three states it held in Punjab, senior leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted that the party will learn from these election results.
A day after the election results of five states are declared, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi called a high-level meeting of CWC (Congress Working Committee) to learn from the mistakes. Rahul Gandhi chaired the meeting and started the meeting with the question ‘Which all five states underwent elections’. Senior Congress leader Gulam Nabi Azad explained Rahul Gandhi what is election and in which all five states the election happened.
Rahul Gandhi asked the committee members not be disheartened with the results and ordered ice-cream to cheer them up. After that the discussion was all around the ice-cream flavours. Rahul Gandhi ordered ice-creams for the media people too.
“Don’t get disheartened, think differently we have one less state to manage now. Always be positive.” said Rahul Gandhi to cheer up the congress workers.
