Modi’s Hypocrisy on Women’s Reservation in Politics Exposed

Promising to increase women’s representation in politics, the hypocrite Modi has reduced their representation in the recently held elections.

This has happened just a few days after Modi’s address to the nation on women’s reservation in politics, which he has now himself undermined.

While India had two women CMs, Modi’s aggressive campaign has led to TMC losing the election, and Mamata Banerjee losing her seat as well, leaving India with only one CM.

Speaking to The Fauxy, a TMC spokesperson said, “Five states underwent elections, but Modi’s misogyny is such that he focused most on West Bengal because it had a woman CM.”

Currently, existing women MLAs are putting they/them in their bios to save themselves from Modi’s wrath.
