Chidambaram was finally sent to Tihar Jail after lots of speculations. He was seen very worried for the economy while his case was being heard in Supreme Court. Even while going to Tihar he showed 5 fingers as a symbol of current GDP rate.There is a trend going on that people or leta say politicians who are sent to jail for a corruption case show concerns for the economy and GDP in particular. Nirmala Sitharaman is in the firing line for not being able to resolve the economic problems of the country. There are chances that she might realise the economic problem if she is sent to jail if at least a case is registered against her .
