Modi Govt Celebrates 7.8% GDP Growth with Sugar-Free Sweets

The Modi government is celebrating India's 7.8% GDP growth rate with sugar-free sweets.

Reportedly, after announcing that India is the world's fastest-growing major economy, Prime Minister Modi distributed sugar-free sweets to ministers, as sugar prices continue to soar amid rising inflation.

The Cabinet meeting following the GDP announcement reportedly served tea without sugar.

Not only that, even the biscuits served with the tea had their sugar removed.

Speaking to The Fauxy, a minister said, "The Modi government is sacrificing sugar so that the common man has enough of it."

Currently, Parle Products is reportedly working on a sugar-free Melody for PM Modi's next visit to Italy.
