Husband Beats Up Wife While Watching Kabir Singh; Calls It A 4D Toxic Masculinity Experience

On Friday, the much-awaited movie Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor hit the cinema screens and reportedly, it did not just hit the cinemas but a few feminists too. The movie which turns out to be an unapologetic celebration of toxic masculinity shows Shahid Kapoor in a much different light than what he was portrayed in movies like Vivah and Jab We Met, where he played far submissive roles. In a few scenes, Shahid Kapoor can be even seen beating up or displaying aggression towards his maid and another woman.

A majority of men loved the movie and made sure that their wives loved it too. In Noida, an incident was reported where a husband beat up his wife during a show of Kabir Singh after his wife asked them to leave the theatre midway during the movie owing to the unbearable toxic masculinity. The husband, who experienced an adrenaline rush while watching the movie beat his wife up in order to satiate a long standing fantasy he had.

Currently, the man has been taken under custody and is being interrogated. According to police, he showing no signs of being apologetic for beating his wife and is defending himself saying that he was just giving his wife a 4-D experience of the movie.
