Big news is coming in from the United States where people are protesting against the ongoing Chess World Cup 2023. Reportedly, people called chess a game that promotes racism and transphobia as the chess pieces are of only two colours.
The protesters demanded that more colour pieces shall be included in the game so that it equally represents LGBTQ+ community too.
The Fauxy sources suggest that Taliban too has supported the protest against chess since the game of chess has the queen stronger and more powerful than the male king.
Speaking to The Fauxy, a talibani said “We don’t allow our women to step outside then how can we allow a game where the queen moves more steps than the king”.
Protesters also questioned why White colour pieces move first. “It’s against Black Lives Matter movement,” they said.
