Trump’s New H1B Visa policy has effectively killed India’s corporate culture, as employees have stopped sucking up to their bosses just to get a chance to go onsite to the US.
Speaking to the Fauxy, one Indian employee said, “I was preparing for a dance performance to impress the CEO on his India visit, but now I have cancelled it,” while another one said, “I have stopped laughing at my boss’s horrible jokes, which also saved his life as he was planning on quitting his job to become a stand-up comedian. Now he focuses on working instead of thinking of these useless jokes.”
However, productivity has increased in Indian offices as employees are focusing on their work instead of putting all their energy into these useless things just to get a chance to go to the US.
