A Delhi-NCR start-up based around selling popcorn near street fights has become the fastest Indian startup to hit a 1 billion dollar valuation to become a unicorn.
Speaking to The Fauxy, the founder said, “Every day on my way to the office in Delhi-NCR, I saw multiple street fights and a crowd of people enjoying them. I asked myself what I could do to improve their experience tenfold. That’s when the idea of selling popcorn to them hit me, and I used all my savings as funding for my popcorn start-up. Today, my company Fight Bite has made me a billionaire.”
Now, the founder, who just a few months back was hoping to get on Shark Tank to ask for funding, is now going as a judge.
