Parents Disturbed As Son Not Even Thinking About Suicide After Failing 12th

On Thursday, CBSE 12th board results were declared for all regions and yet again girls outperformed the boys. The overall percentage for the country stands at 83.4% which means 16.6% of the students who appeared for the exam couldn’t pass them.

CBSE board has issued an advisory for all the parents whose son/daughter couldn’t clear the exam. The advisory asks parents to be extra vigilant to restrict their child from taking any big step.

The Fauxy spoke to one such couple who are disappointed with their kid, Rahul, who has failed the exam yet is not thinking about committing suicide. Mrs Mehta said “See he doesn’t show the slightest of remorse, he has failed four out of five exams and the one he passed is Physics for which he doesn’t even have a book. And if he is not showing remorse in public, at least think of taking some extreme steps in private, but no! He is shameless.”

Rahul’s dad, who got their ceiling fan lowered only a few days back is equally disappointed with his son’s indifferent behaviour.

“It’s like it didn’t affect him at all! How can he act so chill? At least attempt to eat a few pills or use a knife. How are we going to face our relatives?” said Rahul’s father Rajiv.
