Pakistani Man Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize For Doing Nothing

Imran Khan, the current Prime Minister of Pakistan has ‘nominated’ a Pakistani for the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize for basically doing nothing. Imran Khan while nominating the Pakistani, Sayed Ahmed Khan, explained that while all the Pakistani citizens are involved in some or other kind of destructive work, there’s a Pakistani who does nothing. He does no good but then he doesn’t do anything bad either hence it can be considered as an attempt to bring peace.

“Pakistan has become a hub of terrorism and is now also famously referred to as Terroristan, Pakshaitan etc. In such times if a Pakistani is doing nothing then it is indeed a selfless service to maintain global peace,” said one of the jury members of the Nobel Peace Prize.

This is not the first time that a Pakistani has been nominated for the prestigious Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing. Previously, Malala Yousafzai was not only nominated but also won the Nobel Peace Prize for practically doing nothing worthwhile.
