Having already lost the series, team India got another shocker when Hardik Pandya failed to appear during team selections, a day before the fifth test match against England.

On Thursday, Hardik Pandya was detained after cops mistook him for a Caribbean man. Interpol arrested him for sending fake lottery e-mails and job letters to Asian countries. After interrogating him for three hours, Hardik Pandya was cleared but by then the selection process was over and team members for the fifth test were already declared. However, Captian Virat Kohli and Coach Ravi Shashtri have asked Hardik Pandya to change his appearance as an immediate solution.
