Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 Student Fails Class XII; Is Bollywood Taking Method Acting Too Far?

Known for his versatile acting, Hrithik Roshan is now ready with his upcoming biopic movie ‘Super 30’ in which he is playing Anand Kumar, a Patna based mathematician. However, it seems that the movie has already landed itself in a soup of controversies.

Bollywood stars are known to leave no stone unturned when it comes to prepping for biopics and Hrithik Roshan too is no stranger to method acting. However, the actor took it a notch higher this time by not only studying IIT books for two years but also teaching the subjects to a group of 30 students. The results were however too far from what the movie is based on. Mahendra Sharma, one of the 30 students that Hrithik Roshan taught, failed class XII.

“I trusted these Bollywood celebrities more than I trust my parents, I used to believe that Krrish was a real superhero and I even jumped from my building’s first floor on one occasion, all because I had faith that Krrish would come and save me. As it turned out, I escaped serious injuries and suffered only a minor hairline fracture. Krrish was there for me. But today when I have failed, I am not gonna trust these Bollywood celebrities ever again!” said Mahendra.

This is not the first time that Hrithik Roshan worked hard to research and prepare for a movie. If sources are to be believed, the actor has in the past confined himself to a room researching the X-men, Superman, Dark Knight, Iron Man and Spiderman, right before beginning the shoot for Krrish 3.
