The government has finally woken up to the falling rupee and has asked the RBI to bubble-wrap the currency so that the fall hurts less.
Reportedly, the decision was taken after considering all possible ways to strengthen the rupee against the dollar, but Trump’s whimsical stance towards India left the government with no other option than to protect the rupee from impact.
Speaking to The Fauxy, a government official said, “The falling rupee won’t hurt anymore. Soon, we will also bubble-wrap the economy.”
Meanwhile, after seeing the bubble-wrapped rupee, people on X are asking Grok to unwrap the rupee.
