Farmers Carry Out Tractor Rally As The Government Tries To Infringe Their Fundamental Right To Stay Poor

On 26th January, Republic Day, farmers of Punjab and Haryana carried out tractor rally as a protest against fascist government who brought farm laws to improve the lives of farmers across the country and to open bigger markets for them.

“It’s fundamental right to live as we want, if we want to remain poor no government can force us to be prosperous. If we start earning more we will be forced to pay taxes, our subsidies will be taken away. This govt hates poor and that’s why wants to eliminate all poor by making them rich. We reject farm laws”. Said a farmer driving Case IH Quadtrac 620 tractor.

An opposition leader has reportedly filed an PIL against the govt saying that the govt is playing with people’s fundamental right to live. Article 21 of our constitution grants us Right to life which includes right to live rich or poor, that means one can choose the way one wants to live, if one wants to live in poverty the govt has no right to interfere. The hearing is scheduled for 27th Jan.
