Delhi: The posters of Modi (smiling) at petrol pumps are now backfiring the party as the fuel prices rise give customers negative sentiments. In order to address this issue, the Modi government is using the latest technology under digital India. Reportedly, Modi’s face at the petrol pumps poster will now have a varied range of expressions which will be directly linked to the price of petrol at that time.
Earlier it was proposed to remove all the posters when fuel price rises and reinstall them once the price comes down, but the proposal was rejected citing too much of an effort. “Modi ji will initially have eight different expressions and later it will be increased to 24 different expressions. We are using AI to make Modi ji smile or wave at the customers.” told Digital India head to The Fauxy.
