Big News is coming from Jantar Mantar, where a scuffle broke out between protesting wrestlers and Delhi Police at Jantar Mantar. The wrestlers and atheltes are protesting in the national capital against the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Singh.
The protest took a big turn when a Delhi Police officer was seen beating a wrestler. The Delhi Police officer later demanded to be sent to directly to Olympics as he has already beaten a wrestler proving his wrestling talent. Delhi Police officer demand gave a shock to the protesting wrestlers who have been demanding the same.
In several statements during the protests, the protesting wrestlers demanded direct entry to the Olympics without competing for the nationals. The protest got weaken after Delhi Police officer’s demand, and gave protesting wrestlers and athletes a reality check.
