Athletes across India have started training for silver medals instead of gold after seeing the rising prices of silver.
Speaking to The Fauxy, an athlete said, “The rate at which silver prices are rising, by the time the next Olympics comes, its price will be higher than gold. We are just becoming future-proof.”
Incels have also started calling girls silver diggers, and even brands are not far behind, as they are rapidly replacing gold in their names with silver. Examples include Silver’s Gym, Star Silver, and Silver Flake.
