Fuel prices are at all time high in the country crossing ₹100 mark in Rajasthan. There has been quite an uproar against the government for the continuous and a price hike like never before.
While at other places people are protesting to get relief from the fuel prices, Kerala witnessed a bizarre incident where a man came up with an innovative idea to reduce the cost of fuel for himself by buying Petrol at ₹1.5/litre from Venezuela and smuggling it by concealing it in capsules and hiding it in his rectum much like the gold smugglers.
Although he made multiple trips doing the same but finally his luck ran short and he was caught by Customs department from Chennai airport.
After news of his arrest people have already started calling petrol as liquid gold, talking to the Fauxy reporter the accused said he was once caught in past too but was let go on agreeing to share half the petrol with custom officers. His claim is unverified as of now.
