Anubhav Sinha’s latest offering Thappad has been receiving positive responses from the audience and critics alike. Apart from Taapsee Pannu’s acting, the film’s dealing with a sensitive issue is also being lauded. But the film has been offering reverse psychology too to the viewers.
A person named Aman Srivastava actually slapped his wife thinking that she will file for divorce but that did not happen and his wife actually forgave him. Aman had taken his wife to watch Thappad on Friday and they returned with great emotions in their heart. His wife was in full praise of Taapsee’s work and said that the film is a lesson for all the women out there in dealing with violence in relationship.
Aman, who has been having an extra marital affair tried to use the movie’s theme to get a divorce from his wife. He slapped her yesterday and thought that the matter would lead to a divorce. But that did not happen. His wife told him that everything that happens in movies should not happen in real life.
Aman is now waiting for the sequel of Thappad to get more ideas.
