After a huge win in the BMC election, BJP’s top leadership held a meeting to decide on new excuses for the lack of development.
Reportedly, BJP had installed a comedian in Delhi to keep Delhiites entertained and distracted from the lack of development, despite having a triple-engine government. But since that seems impossible in Mumbai, the party is brainstorming so that the excuses are ready before the public even starts asking questions.
Speaking to The Fauxy, a BJP supporter waiting outside the meeting hall said, “If our leaders are experts at something, it is making excuses. I don’t know what’s taking them so long this time.”
Meanwhile, the opposition is also holding a meeting to decide whether they should change their excuse for their continued losses, as “vote chori” seems to be failing. However, they have been unable to arrive at a common point.
