After fighting a legal battle for over 20 years, a man from Surat finally won his inheritance case, only to discover that the property papers his ancestors had left behind were actually prescriptions for thyroid and diabetes medicines.
Reportedly, the man, confident that his obese ancestors must have eaten well and lived prosperously, was shocked to find that the stack of papers contained nothing but medical prescriptions for thyroid and diabetes — conditions he has now conveniently inherited, and all their properties were sold for the treatment of these very diseases.
Speaking to The Fauxy, the man said, “I celebrated the victory by eating sweets, and now I’m diabetic too.”
Currently, he’s spending his hard-earned money treating the very things , thyroid and diabetes, he legally inherited.
