To keep the Mumbai Spirit alive, a Mumbai man swam to his office amid waterlogging, but instead of cheering him, his boss cut the transportation allowance from his salary, since he didn’t use any transport for which the company provides an allowance.
Speaking to The Fauxy, the man proudly said, “Corporate greed, bad infrastructure, poor transport system, and language wars of Mumbai might have killed my inner spirit, but I have still kept alive the Mumbai Spirit, which they can’t kill, no matter what they do.”
Since the man was late due to swimming all the way from his house to the office, the boss is currently marking his attendance as a half-day and cutting his salary once again.
