Amid an ongoing debate about the higher prices on iPhones compared to Android for the same product on their app, a popular quick commerce company introduced an EMI option for iPhone users who are not rich, and even bought their iPhones on EMI.

Fauxy sources suggest that “the company refused to lower the prices for these users but gave them an EMI option, which will automatically convert their purchases of dahi, dhaniya, pudina, etc., into EMIs of up to 36 months“.

However, when the users who bought their Androids on EMI clicked on that same EMI option, the app sent a notification asking them to apply for the government’s free ration scheme.
