Unlike any other food delivery company like Swiggy, Uber Eats etc, Zomato manages to be on limelight and social media trends through the year, however, due to pandemic the company faced serious opportunity crunch to create controversy as it had limited orders for the most period of the financial years.
Soon after the market is almost back on track, Zomato is having controversy and that too more often. Allegedly, to remain in the competition where every company is delivering the same food from the same hotels, Zomato has chosen controversy method to boost its brand recall and sales as well.
“March is the only month we have now and due to the pandemic then subsequent lockdown we lost lots than nine months. We have to create 20 controversies in last 19 days of the month that is more than one per day. Let me go back to work” told a Zomato employee to The Fauxy asking us to name him in the article to create another controversy.
