From new food products that tackle sustainability, to those for the health-conscious, the market is full of bright ideas and visions of how India can eat and drink better and healthier. And Shark Tank India has witnessed more than 50 such cases.

In the 21st episode, Shark Tank India sharks went overboard and gave an entrepreneur funding of 1 crore. However, later it was learned that the guy who got the funding wasn’t an entrepreneur but a Zomato delivery guy and was delivering food to the sharks who mistook him for presenting his state’s delicacy to the show.

India’s F&B space has huge potential and it almost guarantees high return. We are always eager to have multiple F&B brand in our portfolio” said Ashneer Grover, founder and MD Bharat Pe, who with Anupam Mittal, founder Shaadi Dot Com, offered 1 crore to the delivery boy.

Reportedly, all the sharks fought among themselves to fund the delivery boy, who remained silent throughout the funding raise episode.
