Even after 70 years of independence, some Indians are not yet mentally independent and keep looking at the west to validate their coolness. A south Delhi girl who was an active campaigner of “Trump Not My President, “ was seen criticising Trump for his policies. However, upon asking what’s her view on India’s political scenario and who’s her president if not Trump she failed to answer.
When she was asked who the current President of India was, she answered: “I haven’t read a newspaper lately.”
In India glamour still supersedes real knowledge, and that’s why the young generation majorly goes with what looks cool than what is actually right.
