“We are friends with benefits” Arvind Kejriwal on Congress, AAP Alliance

On Wednesday, Arvind Kejriwal revealed in an interview the exact nature of the relationship between the AAP and Congress, stating, “We are just friends with benefits, not in a permanent marriage.”

“We tried being in a relationship in 2013–2014, when I first became CM, but the relationship turned toxic and we had to break up. However, after so many years, we have resolved our differences and decided to be friends with benefits because we like the same things, like power and money, and even dislike the same things, like Modi,” Kejriwal added, claiming that they are progressive parties that follow the culture of today’s youth, unlike the conservative BJP.

When asked by The Fauxy reporter how they could trust Congress as they were the first to complain about Delhi’s liquor policy, he replied, “You know how exes can turn toxic; it was just that.” But when questioned about the Swati Maliwal case, he said, “No comments.”

Currently, Kejriwal has asked the Supreme Court for a 7-day bail extension so he can spend more time with Congress. However, the Supreme Court, allegedly jealous of their closeness, has rejected the bail.
