Kolkata: In an unfortunate incident, a Hindu teacher was arrested after students reported on how she was beating them up for not their completing homework.
Sanskrit teacher for class 8th, Jyoti was one of the finest and strictest teachers of Kolkata Public School and had delivered immaculate results so far. However, on Tuesday she suddenly turned violent and started beating up the students who didn’t complete their homework. The weapon of assault in question was a ruler, which left behind red marks on the hands of the kids.
One of the students reported the incident to the principal who later called up the police to make sure that the students who did not complete their homework get arrested.
To everyone’s surprise, the Kolkata police arrested the Hindu teacher for being violent. Later in the FIR, Kolkata Police also mentioned teacher Jyoti as a violent Hindu teacher.
“The students were beaten up because they deserved it, but we had to make an example out her arrest. We did not arrest her because of the law against corporal punishment, but because she is a Hindu teacher,” explained the police officer.
