UPSC Aspirant Becomes Ambulance Driver After He Realises That Govt Has Banned Beacon Cars For IAS Officers

The latest report of The Fauxy has revealed that over ten thousand aspirants of UPSC have dropped out from the preparation stage itself. A majority of these aspirants have dropped out because of government dropping the various incentives.

In one such case, an aspirant stopped his UPSC preparation and became ambulance driver. Reportedly, the man was excited about having a beacon vehicle and this was his sole motivation to crack UPSC, however, after Modi govt banned red beacon vehicle for ministers and bureaucrats, ending the ultimate status symbol, the man decided to become ambulance driver.

“Modi government’s decision has discouraged many to go for UPSC exam, UPSC aspirants had just one motivation to crack UPSC and Modi govt has take away that, Modi govt lacks sympathy for general public” said an UPSC Coaching teacher.
