Ukraine Starts Evacuation Mission To Evacuate Pakistani Students From Pakistan After Peshawar Blast

On Friday, at least 56 people were killed and 194 wounded by a suicide bomb at a Shia mosque in the northwestern Pakistan city of Peshawar, the deadliest attack in the country since 2018. The most sad part was a student, who survived Ukraine crisis, got killed in the blast.

Reportedly, Ukraine has started evacuation mission where the Ukraine govt will be evacuating Pakistani students who have reached Pakistan safely. Ukraine has named the evacuation – operation Pak.

This is one of its kind mission, no other country has done this before where they have evacuated people from their own country but we are doing it on humanitarian ground.

Sources suggest that Ukraine is doing so because students’ fee plays an important role in Ukraine’s economy and a majority of Pakistani Students have fled without paying the fee.

Pakistan PM Imran Khan appreciated the Ukraine’s initiative and reported that Pakistan has over 10 lakh students who study in Ukraine.
