Today’s Wordle is the easiest we’ve seen, yet it created a massive outrage among wordle lovers. A very common word and easy to guess mostly today.
Today the seven-letter wordle had upset many even those who got it right in just two or three attempts. On Women’s Day, most of the wordle players were expecting women empowerment related word but got disappointed to see the word KITCHEN as the answer. Women Wordle players said that Wordle is indirectly hinting that women belong to kitchen.
Wordle lovers took it to social media to register their outrage. Wordle owner, New York Times Company had to apologise for the wrong choice of word.
“We made a blunder and can’t correct it now. We sincerely apologise. We have over 1000 wordles ready and randomly post it everyday. We had little idea this word will appear today” said Chief Editor of New York Times Company.
New York Times has reportedly removed many such words that might offend people. One of the removed wordles had answer ‘ORPHAN’, which NYT was afraid could have been published on Mother’s or Father’s Day.
