To ensure strict Ramadan fasting, Pakistan government brings inflation, a dozen banana costs Rs 500

Pakistan’s socio-economic crisis is worsening with each passing day. The country is struggling with high inflation as commodity prices are rising to record highs. The Islamic nation is particularly hit by high flour/atta prices which has led to stampedes in some places. Now, according to reports, banana prices have also shot up in Pakistan with the universal fruit being sold at Rs 500 per dozen. However, this isn’t the real situation of Pakistan. Reportedly, Pakistan government has increased the price of all edibles and has brought fake inflation only to ensure strict Ramadan fasting.

Pakistan government believes, Pakistan poor economic situation is a result of Allah’s wrath on disbelievers, especially those who don’t observe proper fasting during the month of Ramadan. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif accused disbelievers of being the reason of Pakistan’s poor economic condition.

It’s a great step, now Pakistanis are left with no option but to observer strict fast” said an Islamic Scholar. However, a few Hindus left in Pakistan tried to protest against the fake inflation created to which Pakistan govt gave them two options – either observe Navratri fast or accept Islam.
