Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files has opened with a promising box office figure and in two days the collection has crossed the 12 Cr mark. Previously, Vivek Agnihotri has made movies like Chocolate, Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, and Hate Story which made the audience cry.
The Kashmir Files is different but it also made the audience cry. The Kashmir Files is based on the plight of Kashmiri Hindus who were persecuted and driven away in the early days of insurgency in the valley.
While the movie like Chocolate, Dhana Dhan Goal, and Hate Story made the audience cry for its script, The Kashmir Files made people cry for its heart-wrenching narrative of the pain, suffering, struggle and trauma of Kashmiri pandits.
“It was a very emotional moment for me when audience cry and yet they feel grateful to me, earlier audience cried and I had to save myself. Time changes.” told the director of The Kashmir Files, Vivek Agnihotri to The Fauxy.
