Big news is coming from Pune, where a snake died after biting a Ernst & Young employee. The employee has credited his office’s toxic culture for saving his life, claiming it made him even more toxic than the snake.
The man had gone hiking on his day off when his manager contacted him with some urgent work, asking him to complete it immediately. Familiar with his office environment, the man had his laptop with him, so he sat on a rock and started working. Suddenly, a snake emerged from the bushes and bit him. However, as he was working at the time, the toxicity running through his veins was even higher than usual. Despite being one of the deadliest snakes in the world, it died.
Speaking to The Fauxy, the man said, “This is nothing—you should see my manager, who once donated blood, but the doctors found it so toxic that they said it would kill anyone if transfused. So, they started using it to make antivenom.”
Currently, the man’s manager is taking full credit for saving his life while putting all the blame for killing the snake on him.
