In one of the Shark Tank India episodes, an entrepreneur Rohit spoke about his product Sippline, an oral drinking hygiene product and got brutally criticised for his product by one of the sharks Ashneer Grover. Ashneer Grover said that this is the worst product I have ever seen and hope this is not only your first but the last product too.
However, the table has turned now after the Sippline owner made a whooping 2000 Cr in the last financial year and offered to buy a majority (57%) stake in Shark Tank India, taking full control of the show. If sources are to be believed, the Shark Tank India season 2 will replace Ashneer with Sippline founder Rohit and Ranvijay Singha with Ashneer.
The Shark Tank India season 2 will also be sponsored by Sippline and fans of the show can now see Ashneer Grover selling Upgrad courses, Flipkart as a market place and Sippline just outside the main gate of Shark Tank India.
In Conversation with The Fauxy, Sippline founder said “Ashneer Who?” and started drinking water in a glass with Sippline fitted on it.
