With no international spectators and limited domestic crowds, the importance placed on broadcasting the Paralympic Games is as usual far far less than Olympics. Upon asking about the bias in covering several media houses and journalists claimed that the medals given in Paralympics aren’t of same weight and carat as of Olympics. It was unbelievable to know this and hence, a team of Paralympics association reached out to many jewellers to confirm the same.
The result of the tests done by jewellers were astonishing. Result said that the Gold medal of Olympics and Paralympics weight exactly same and are of same carat, infact they are designed and made by same manufacturer. The results were same for Silver and Bronze medals too.
The test results have been provided to media houses so that they cover Paralympics without any bias.
