Breaking all the previous records, the Indian Paralympic contingent has bagged 17 medals so far, more than all the previous medals put together. Reportedly, Pakistan is hugely upset with India’s success at Paralympics and PM Imran Khan chaired a high level meeting with the sports ministry and team of 4 athletes.
The high level marathon meeting went over for almost 6 hours and ended with a shocking conclusion. Pakistan athlete Javelin thrower, Arshad Nadeem was one of the top performers in the recently held Tokyo Olympics, but wasn’t good enough to get Pakistan a medal. It has been decided in the meeting that Arshad Nadeem will have to sacrifice his one leg for a medal for Pakistan.
“He will participate in the 2024 Paris Paralympics and we are in the process of cutting his one leg. Many people have died for Pakistan, this is the least he can do for a medal” said Pakistan Sports Minister while addressing the media.
