Scotch Brite Replaces Regressive Bindi Woman With A Modern Inked Woman In Its Logo.

Abrasive products company Scotch-Brite, has said that it is replacing the outrageous image from its logo to “move on from regressive beliefs”.

The issue came to the fore when communication and advertising executive Karthik Srinivasan in a LinkedIn post on July 15 pointed out that the packaging logo had the vector of a woman with a bindi on her forehead.

Soon after the outrage in various social media platforms the company has decided to update its logo and give a clear message to the society that women are no longer the same oppressed ones. Logo will have now the vector image of a modern woman, who will have tattoo instead of regressive bindi.
