New Delhi: Saket Gokhale, RTI activist, has found himself in a controversy after a video clip surfaced on social media where he can be seen pitching his crowdfunding idea to The Shark Tank India, an Indian business reality television series that airs on SET India.
Video clip shows Saket Gokhale pitching crowdfunding for filing RTI, which costs just 10 Rs, combining it with political motive and earning in lakhs. Video also shows Saket Gokhale claiming to have earned Rs 76 lakhs in a year. Video ends abruptly with judges thrashing and throwing Saket Gokhale out form the show.
Saket Gokhale has claimed that the video is fake and has filed an RTI to find out who has made the video to defame him. Details awaited.
