An RTI reply dated April 08 has revealed that the Arvind Kejriwal-led Delhi government has spent Rs 150 crores from January 2021 to March 2021 on advertisements and publicity through various mediums. The Internet is flooded with Kejriwal’s Corona Virus Ad and now the ad has more visibility and presence than the corona virus itself.
Reportedly, AAP govt has paid huge to multiple new channels to show Kejriwal’s ad and the overwhelmed news channels are now going overboard. Republic TV is showing Kejriwal’s ad in every five to ten minutes. However, on Sunday, when Republic TV had not much to show as news they played Kejirwal’s ad in between two Kejriwal’s ad.
Sources suggest that Republic TV is considering renaming it to AK TV.
“Arnab CEO of Republic is so influenced with Kejriwal that he has started looking like him” said one of the Republic employees who wishes to remain anonymous.
